1604 Machine learning in geomechanics and geomaterials

This mini-symposium focuses on the recent progress in the development and application of machine learning methods to the investigation of geomechanics problems. This is a relatively new area where the data-driven type of deep learning approaches are well suited to the basic and applied researches in geomechanics and geomaterials. Contributions on the development of novel artificial intelligence and deep learning methods that are suitable for multiphase, multiscale granular materials, porous medias and geomaterials are particularly welcome.
