WCCM-FRC Merit-Based award
Elsevier and the Female Researchers' Chapter of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM-FRC) are sponsoring merit-based awards for best presentations at WCCM 2022 for young female researchers in three categories: 1) graduate student, 2) postdoctoral appointee, and 3) junior faculty (defined as 5 years or less since starting the faculty position). The past recipients in all categories are not qualified for three years to be reconsidered for the same award.
The winning applicants will receive a monetary award and will be recognized at the Women's Networking Event (Wednesday Aug. 3rd, 2022 at 11pm Japan time | 4pm Paris time | 10am New York time). To apply, please fill out the form (https://bit.ly/3zAt3CE) by July 15th, 2022 with your CV (2 pages maximum) and a link to your WCCM presentation.
Depending on the number of applicants, the accomplishments reflected by the CV will be used to down-select those who make it to the second round where their presentations will be reviewed.
