For compressible fluids, in particular, for the high-Mach wall-bounded turbulence, the flow typically involves broadband length scales and even discontinuities. This multi-scale phenomenon poses significant challenges in developing high-fidelity numerical methods for reliable predictions with under-resolved mesh resolutions. In this session, we dedicate to collecting and presenting the state-of-the-art high-order numerical methods including but not limited to finite-volume, finite-difference, and discontinuous Galerkin (DG) methods. The potential applications are relevant to gas dynamics, turbulence, multiphase flows, etc.
