Based on recently dramatic development on machine learning technology and toolkits, computer vision is getting more research efforts, and is starting to widely apply on material crack identification, failure pattern recognition, and many types of practical applications. Many researches are investigating on improving the accuracy and efficiency, refining algorithms, and exploring potential applications.

This MS aims to gather researchers and engineers who are working in or are interested in this area to share their experiences, improvements, and practical requirements. In addition, it also aims to attract industrial attentions in order to make more connections between research and practical applications.
