The physics of fluid-structure interaction, contact and interfaces widely-exists in nature, which are of great interests for both researchers and engineers. Numerical methods handling the fluid-structure interaction problems should couple the algorithms describing fluid dynamics and structural mechanics. Contact and interfacial problems include many difficulties currently to simulate such interactions with accuracy. New algorithms/methods for simulating the related phenomena and their applications are all welcome for this minisymposium.
